Bolt Bottle Opener
A very simple bottle opener made from an A2 stainless steel bolt.
Having never paid much attention to bottle openers prior to making this, a lesson was quickly learned on the critical dimensions of the lip which engages the bottle cap.
The material is removed with a milling machine. Holding the bolt from the flats on the hexagonal head resulted in the workpiece moving in the vice, and so an attachment was made to prevent movement, set the cutting angle required and avoid marring of the threads.
